    What actually happens

    Eight steps, all by hand

Most car washes are a black box — you hand over the keys and hope. Here's exactly what your car goes through.

    01

    Pull in

No appointment for a wash. We take the plate and your keys, and you're on the board.

    02

    Pre-rinse

Loose grit comes off first. Washing over grit is what puts scratches in paint.

    03

    Hand wash

Fresh mitt and professional soap, panel by panel, rinsing between sections. Nothing mechanical touches your car.

    04

    Wheels and tires

Rims cleaned with their own dedicated brushes and cleaner, then tires dressed.

    05

    Soft cloth dry

Dried by hand with clean, high-GSM microfiber. Air-drying is what leaves water spots.

    06

    Interior

Vacuumed, high-pressure air into the vents and seams, mats out and cleaned.

    07

    Wipe down

Dash, console, trims, door panels and cup holders. Windows done last, inside and out.

    08

    Walk around

We check it with you before you leave. Miss a spot, we fix it right there.

    What touches your car

The products matter as much as the hands

Anyone can say hand wash. What actually protects your paint is what's in the bucket, on the mitt, and in the towel — and we don't cut corners on any of it.

    Professional soaps

pH-balanced, wax-safe car soap — not dish detergent. It lifts road film without stripping the protection already on your paint.

    Fresh microfiber

Clean, high-pile towels every car, laundered separately by use. A reused towel is a scratch waiting to happen, so we don't reuse them.

    Dedicated tools

Separate brushes, mitts and buckets for wheels, paint and interior. Nothing that touched a wheel ever touches a body panel.

    Finish products

Quality waxes, sealants, dressings and leather conditioners chosen for how they hold up on Long Island roads and salt.

Dedicated tools and fresh microfiber, every car

Why it costs what it costs. Good soap, fresh towels and separate tools per car are more expensive than one brush and a recirculating water tank. That's the difference you're paying for, and it's the difference you see in the paint two years from now.

    Hand vs machine

What a machine does to your clear coat

Your paint is four layers, and the top one is thinner than a sheet of paper. This is what happens to it, magnified.

    Machine wash

    Spinning brush + trapped grit

BRUSH Red = grit from the car before yours

The brush that touches your car just touched dozens of others. Sand and road grit get trapped in the bristles, and the machine drags it across your clear coat at speed. That's what swirl marks are — thousands of fine scratches catching the light.

    Clean mitt, rinsed every panel

MICROFIBER Clear coat intact — light reflects evenly

A fresh mitt, rinsed between every panel, so grit goes into the bucket instead of back onto your paint. The clear coat stays flat, light reflects evenly, and the car keeps the finish an appraiser looks at first.
